One subscription includes four (4) planter deliveries per year (SPRING, SUMMER, FALL, WINTER).  Using our 25+ years’ experience we carefully select & put together arrangements that are easy to maintain, bursting with color, and that make your property stand out.

The Lawn Barber can eliminate the time consuming and often stressful process designing a planter yourself can bring.  No more worrying about things like sun/shade requirements, colors, hauling of plants, pots, soil, and the mess putting it together can make.

If you are not happy with the design or appearance of your pot upon delivery, we will work with you to create something until you are happy. AND, pick a friend, co-worker, or family member you think could use some happiness, and we will give them a free 12” planter arrangement. 

PLANTER QUESTIONS

Q: How long does my planter typically last?

A: You will be provided specific care instructions and helpful tips with each pot that is delivered.  The arrangements do have a seasonal “shelf life” and might show signs of decline before your next arrangement arrives.  However, following the instructions, keeping them out of severe weather, & minor pruning will go a long way in helping them last.

Q: How do the permanent containers work?

A: The pot(s) The Lawn Barber brings out to you are rentals. The pot(s) will stay at your house and inserts will be swapped out by us each season.

The Lawn Barber does own the pots, and in the event you cancel/skip a season, we will come out and pick up the pot(s). Whether you skip or cancel, we will leave the insert/flowers for you unless told otherwise.

At the start of each season we will come out and pick up any permanent pots from clients who have chosen to skip/cancel that season. This will occur on the dates listed below:

Spring- April 2nd
Summer- June 2nd
Fall- September 2nd
Winter- November 2nd

In the event the pot is not available for pick up that day, The Lawn Barber will charge the client for the pot(s).  You will have 7 days to return the pot(s) at which time you will receive a full refund.  Charges listed below & are per pot:

Q: I'm looking for a different style/color pot from what you offer, what are my options?

A: We understand, and would be happy to work with you on this.  Just provide us as much detailed information as possible regarding the pot you want, and we will do our best to get it ordered for you.  (note: depending on availability, size, and color of the pot you choose pricing may vary compared to the “regular” subscription package in which we use the pot options given)

ORDERING QUESTIONS

Q: What if I am not around much in the winter so I only want 3 pots per season?

A: We understand, and would be happy to accommodate your needs.  Instead of 4 pots each season, you would receive 3 (excluding the winter pot).  If this better fits your needs just get in contact with us and let us know.

Q: I would prefer to use my own pot and was wondering if that is possible?

A: If you want to use your own pot that is totally fine with us!  Everything would be the same as the regular subscription, the only difference being you are using your own pot(s)

Q: Do you offer any discounts?

A: Absolutely! We understand and appreciate the sacrifices made by our veterans, and especially in the midst of a pandemic, our health care workers.  The Lawn Barber will take $30 off the subscription price as a thank you.  We will also be donating a portion of each pot sold to Mending Spirits Animal Rescue, Habitat for Humanity, and CADA (Committee Against Domestic Abuse)

Q: How do I renew my subscription?

A: If you would like to renew your subscription and continue to enjoy the beauty of our custom made planters, you do not have to do anything.

Q: How do I cancel my subscription?

A: If you would like to cancel your subscription simply call or email us and we would be happy to assist you. Upon cancellation, your subscription fulfillment will continue until all credit has been used up.

PICK-UP & DELIVERY QUESTIONS

When will my pot(s) be delivered?

A: As far as we know, no one to date has been able to control mother nature, and we do not foresee that happening anytime soon.  For that reason our delivery times allow us the flexibility to avoid extremes like excess heat or frost. Our delivery times are as follows:

Spring (April 5-30), Summer (May 27-June 17), Fall (September 1-18), Winter (November 8-30)

Q:What is the delivery area and how much does it cost?

A: The Lawn Barber offers free delivery within Mankato/North Mankato, Eagle Lake, Madison Lake, Elysian, Waterville, and Janesville. We also provide free delivery to the following lakes: Madison, Washington, Duck, Ballantyne, Francis, Ray’s, Elysian, Reeds, Tetonka, & Sakatah. If you are outside of these areas please get in contact with us and we can provide you a delivery quote.

PAYMENT QUESTIONS

Q: What forms of payment do you accept and when will I be billed?

A: We will happily accept American Express, Mastercard, Discover, & Visa. You also have the option to pay by check, but with this option we do require you to pay your subscription in full before the first pot is delivered. With credit card payments, once you sign up you will be emailed an invoice for the first planter delivery.  After that, you will be billed every 3 months at the start of May, Aug, Nov, and Feb of the following year.
